The Radiance
It is likewise narrated that shamsuddin Mualim related that one day Moulana, addressing the disciples, said that the prophet had said that when the heart of the faithful is filled with radiance of god, the heart becomes fertile and productive of pious thoughts and reactions. The prophet was asked how one could discern that the lights of god had entered the heart of a man; to which he replied that such a person loses all worldly desires and all pleasures of a worldly nature forfeit their allure so far as he is concerned. And that he becomes a stranger to his friends and relatives, nor has any expectations from anyone, or desires anything from anybody.
